Book Recommender
Overview
The project is an advanced book recommendation system that allows users to input any query, including combinations of authors, genres, titles, or any valid keywords, to receive personalized book suggestions. Leveraging a custom-built dataset of 10,000 books, the model uses cosine similarity and embeddings to understand and match the query with relevant books in the dataset. The model transforms textual data (such as book titles, authors, and descriptions) into vector representations, enabling it to efficiently compare and suggest books based on semantic similarities. This enables highly flexible queries, allowing users to enter varied and complex combinations of inputs, from specific genres and authors to broader thematic or content-based searches. The system provides accurate, context-aware recommendations, improving the book discovery process with a focus on user intent and content relevance.
